Snowy Posted November 18, 2018 Share Posted November 18, 2018 I have for sale a 2.5v6 engine and gearbox from an omega. The engine and box still come attached to the rest of the car (X533YLG). This is the estate model. I'm quite happy to take the engine box etc out of the car or sell it whole. MOT'd till 10 July 2019. Runs fine but the alternator is stating to make a bearing noise. The cam belt and water pump have been changed recently and I will even throw in the locking tools for the engine I have had to change the coil (genuine part) due to water ingress. But i sealed the scuttle to stop this happening again as advised on the Omega forum. The crank shaft sensor was changed (genuine) two months ago due the original starting your fail. £500 for the lot.
