    Single Wiper Conversion

Did I hear my name being mentioned?????? IIRC the old Manta Magic article was a bit of a bodge and relocated the wiper spindle hole to the centre of the scuttle panel, it's much easier just to use the existing hole. I've since done a better version, sure I wrote a rough guide to doing it somewhere relatively recently, I shall be back.................

    Manta 400 Turbo Project

Red FTW Some impressive work going on, just one thing...... Looks like you know what you're doing but are those seat bars up to the job just being welded at the ends like that? normally they have spreader/reinforcing plates where they attach to the body.

    Cooling Fan Thermo Switch

Are you using a relay to power the fan? A lot of these thermo switches can't handle the current a fan pulls so need to be in a relay circuit.

    Cooling Fan Thermo Switch

Sounds like you might have found the problem. I used an M14x1.5 nut and spent an age going through the sensor catalogue at the local parts shop trying to find one with the right temp range and m14 thread (think it's for a rover??)

    Cooling Fan Thermo Switch

I've got a similar setup and use a 100/95 degree switch (fairly sure it's an intermotor too), needle hardly gets above the middle before the fan cuts in which seems a bit early for that temp range so I'm assuming my gauge or gauge sender isn't reading right. Just a thought - where's the sender located in the pipe? Needs to be underneath so it's always in the water flow. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/mantachris/16v%20project/fanswitch7a.jpg
