  1. Rust repairs on the schedule this weekend. Drivers side door got the treatment of cuting and sandblasting. Wasn't to bad but not good. Had to take out a 3" piece to get rid of the rust. Made a fals and primed the bare metal. Welding next weekend and passenger door.
  2. How much for the brackets? Very intressted.
  3. Still looking. Sounds fair. Don't know postage to Sweden? Will try to explain better witch buttons I mean. Those two buttons. Aux lights similar to these. Mounted ontop of bumper. And foglights similar to these, mounted below the bumper, were mounted on swedish mantas from the dealer, and I'm trying to restore mine to it's original state. So all help with pieces that you throw away when upgrading your cars is very appreciated by me.
  4. Nice work. Really impressed, and giving me hope that I'm some day will be at this stage.
  5. Easy to find on the UK ebay:) but I'm from Sweden and around here it's almost impossible to find anything. Took me two years just to find a 5 speed gearbox... And not very good at English so don't know what words to seek for.
  6. Looking for extraequipment switches. Foglight and supplementlight switches. Mounted in the combi instrument above the lightswitch. It's for my B-series Manta Berlinetta 1982. Also looking for standard Foglight and extralights. Those equiped from seller/faktory.
  7. Nice one, but isn't that one painted? Mine is just plain plastic. Not sure but think it's for a later model.
  8. Between diaper changes and napings I got some polishing on some Manta parts done. This time it's the license plate light that got the treatment of autosol and polish. I'm quite happy with the resulte of one hour work. Maybe overdue to polish the inside of the cap but what the hell, it's done now. ready for close inspections. More to come tomorrow hopefully...
  9. Thanx for the cheering words. The manta is going to look like it's rolled of the line yesterday when I'm finnished. Thats my goal. Started to pack the dash for storage this evening. Found a few places I missed to clean. Around the fresh air vents among other tight corners.
  10. Started to polish the plastic and found a nice shiny plastic beneth the grit. Got a good finish on the meters and plastic details. It's as shiny so you can see the reflections of the gauges.
  11. Started to clean the instruments yesterday. Think it's quite nessesary. If you going to clean up the gauges, why not do it thorougly?
  12. Thanx. I've noticed that when I was looking after the centerconsole. Took two years before I found one on a fleemarket. Done some work on the dash at hobbynight at work. The fastenings on the defrostermunstyckena outlets were bysted. Made two fingerclamps to replace the missing plastic. And made a frame to the speakers in the center of the dash. Thought the original mountings where a bit weak for modern heavier speakers. The whole dash cleaned and polished. Both ears on the defroster outlets where broken. And the speaker support. If my wife don't give birth to my new kid tomorrow I will take on the meters and gauges tomorrow night.
  13. Took the wireing out too. Found a few cracks in the insulation and it was very stiff. Will take it to my work and redraw all cables so It's fresh when I put it in again. No idea to take the risk when I can fix it now and be sure of the funktion later. Took some of the interior parts with me home for cleaning. Cleaned the door sides and the bottom of the rear seat.
