  1. At is current price of £14K then that will be possibly the highest price a B1 coupe has reached. It deserves to get too at least £15K based on recent achieved prices on GTE coupes. At least at the price it currently is it's unlikely to be modified into a 400R 😀
  2. My insurer (Hagerty) requires no photo proof for valuation purposes for values up to £20k Most insurers will accept your valuation with photos if it's sensible. Your car is worth on the open market between £15k - £20k, therefore I would ask your insurance company to insure it for £20k You know what you paid for the car so you know it's current value.
  3. I would add 50% to those prices in the Manta A valuation page. Lost Fool I would value your Manta for insurance purposes at £20,000.
  4. That is a new high price for a Manta A. Based on recent selling prices achieved on Manta A 's I think the clubs valuation page needs updating.
  5. Saw this car in 2019 & it is a well known car in the club. Probably the most solid rust free example underneath. It is not perfect but could be used & taken to meets. It could be made perfect as time & funds permit, mostly paintwork but nothing drastic.
  6. I saw that one as well & my initial thoughts were that at £19K it was at the top end of it's worth especially as it was the slightly less desirable 1.6 S Model rather than a 1.9 SR. When I saw it was LHD I remembered the car from a few years ago I believe it was imported from Italy. As a LHD car I think it could achieve that price in Europe but in the UK I am not so sure. Still a lovely car though in a great colour.
  7. Welcome to the omoc forum Manta 'A's rarely come up for sale especially in v good condition. You will need to have a budget between £15k - £20k to get the car you want. Automatics may be closer to the lower end of the estimate. I have an A series & they are great cars that turn heads wherever you go.
  8. Headlining on SR berlinetta Mantas of that age is normally colour coded to the interior colour of the car. My 1978 Manta SR berlinetta is Polar White with a black vinyl roof, red seats & carpet & red headlining. Your colour headlining in gold/ mustard colour is correct for the period.
  9. Mine is original & never been restored or welded
  10. Unbelievable find. Ultra low mileage of 12500 miles Recommissioned & with a fresh MOT it could be worth £15-20K Last Manta SR berlinetta sold recently in that range If the engine is not seized & in its present condition it has to be worth £10K at least.
  11. Hi Steve Welcome to the club. That is a nice Manta A you have there in one of the best colours of Monza Blue. Did you get the car from the Bristol area?
  12. The Red GTE is well known to myself & the club. The restoration thread is in the projects section of the forum. It is without doubt one of the best GTE's in the country. When you consider that nice GTE's have been recently selling for around £20K this one is not nice it is stunning. I wish I had the money to buy it but unfortunately I don't.
