When I completely stripped the inside of mine I replaced the black sticky stuff with stick on mats, in more places than the original factory stuff... But, to be honest with a stainless exhaust fitted I don't think it makes a lot of difference. I do wonder where the voices are coming from when I come off the motorway..... its usually the radio that I haven't been able to hear 😄

The space is quite shallow, cassette players usually require the "spacer" between the dash & unit. Does your player fit in flush without the spacer?

Welcome & hope you enjoy ownership, I'm afraid if you are after an investment cars are not the thing to be in. Unless of course you just want to tart it up & turn it over. The joy is popping out for a drive & seeing folks pointing & smiling.

I got a couple of Caliper service kits & finished the job today, just need to bleed one where I changed the hose & we're good to go. Cheers guys for your advice, BigRed seem like the place if your calipers are goosed, mine are fine with a good service.

Nah then, I have ordered a set of shields from ebay, but I need a seal repair kit for the AC Delco BMF type calipers. I'm sure I saw some advertised, but I simply cannot find them. Anyone help???

Has anyone seen any of the shields that sit behind the front brake discs for sale anywhere?
