Opel ascona on ebay

Just wondering does anyone know the Opel ascona on ebay. White with 400 kit.

Is this the one in Ireland that had a starting bid of £5000? originally but on eBay for a fixed price of around £10,000

Don't know it or the owner but the car doesn't look like it is as good now as the 1st picture lets you believe, the paint looks dull on the close ups (maybe the light?).

Have you been to see it and or did you make a bid on it?

Does look interesting and if solid a good car to have, at the right price

Ya that's the one no didn't go to look at, I felt it was too much work.

Do any of ye know anything about the 1985 opel manta on done deal for sale in kerry for €15700. It has a 3.0 monza engine. I think it was built in Wolverhampton but not too sure. It seems very pricey, ant thoughts?

I think it was for sale for approx. £7000 when in Wolverhampton area, did look nice though. I think there was a discussion on the forum about it awhile back.

I'd love to buy it but I think it's over priced and the interior let's it down. You would have to fork out for a nice set of bucket seats etc. What's your opinion on price etc. 

By any chance you don't know of any for sale over by you. It has to have a 400 kit etc or wide arched. Have cash waiting for right car. 😉
