Exhaust Manifold

Got a mild steel tubular manifold on my coupe, only reason being that when my back box fell off years ago I couldn't get hold of a standard box quickly and the complete system came up cheap. Don't know if you'll see much gain on a standard engine but it looks pretty and now I want one :D

It looks nice but expect performance loss, GM actually got the CIH manta Manifold right in terms of flow and scavenging.  The cast is good for heat soak and has a cooling effect on that area of the engine too.

A grass track racer I once knew said his cars ran hotter and had less "go" when he tried different manifolds.

You need a frontera 2.4 cast manifold mated up to 2inch down pipes long as possible before going into a good 2 1/2 system with two silencer boxes. Best set up unless over 200bhp .
