Ems Posted November 22, 2014 Share Posted November 22, 2014 I've fitted Astra rear calipers with single 34mm piston and Wilwood Midilite 4 pots with each piston having a diameter of 31.8mm to my Manta. rutts Posted November 22, 2014 Share Posted November 22, 2014 you can still get a new Monza master cylinder off German ebay for around £120 that are 23mm diameter compared to manta 20mm should help. golf 16v gti master cylinder and servo with separate pipes to each caliper for optimum performance. bias pedal box with remote servo. the choice is yours Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rutts Posted November 23, 2014 Share Posted November 23, 2014 I used a Monza a master cylinder on my hatch with audi 282mm discs clamped with Vectra 2.5 v6 calipers. worked better than the manta master cylinder pedal travel was less and felt better. Ems Posted November 23, 2014 Author Share Posted November 23, 2014 I had a bias pedal box on my old Manta with .625 front and .75 rear. I can't find a suitable bias pedal box with internal cylinders at the moment which is why I'm looking at different master cylinders for the standard servo. Golf Mk2 GTI and Polo GT servos are going for silly money these days. I'm looking to have a decent feel with not too much travel, so it looks like the Monza one should be OK with a bias valve in the rear brake line.
