I have a few specifics so am happy to wait for the right car rather than compromise. I'm looking for a GTE Hatchback, it must be the earlier model, as in the ones with a Daytona check 'Recaro' badged interior. I'm extremely keen on it being a non-sunroof car but wouldn't turn down a sunroof car after a check for rust. I'm not fussed on the colour and although a manual is preferable, I'd still consider an automatic. As original condition as possible is again preferred but not essential, even an engine swap as long as the overall condition of the car is very good. Rick-Manta Posted November 24, 2014 Author Share Posted November 24, 2014 (edited) Hey Jack, I hope you're still enjoying your GTE, it's looking as mint as a trebor extra strong I'm looking for storage to keep my current project 'out of the winter' as well as have enough room for a much better car. It occured to me that rather than saving to get some new parts/tools every couple of months, I may just as well save my money to buy a Manta in decent condition in the first place. Jack Posted November 26, 2014 Share Posted November 26, 2014 I am loving my GT/E thanks Rick and there is a really nice White Hatch for just under 7k that went through an auction and is on Ebay now. Not sure if you will like the black rubbing strips down the side, its a D plate too so it has the Chicago Grey interior. Do you prefer Hatches over Coupes then? I have always wanted an Exclusive so when I am in a position to have 2 Mantas then one of those may be on the cards for me. Never sell my Hatch though.
