The only thing i'd be tempted to do to this Manta would have the door handles painted white, before you all start screemimg it's just me, i have always thought that they stick out like the proverbial soar thumb, one blob of balck in a single coloured side ( below waist line ) probably penny pinching accountants and production difficulties that stopped Oples doing this.

Each to their own but i like the black handles any time i see one with body coloured handles it make me think the cars had a cheap respray and they havent bothered to mask or remove them unless its a black car of course lol

Hi Jack

Looks a lovely example of a hatch.

I do have a soft spot for white Manta's though  :)

They are very easy to steal though so make sure you get some security devices on it like a steering wheel lock & alarm.

It's really something to think I have got my very own Manta now! Just got a small problem with it which I will post in the electrical section, but basically needs jump starting every time now as of yesterday. The exhaust is a brand new half system and sounds really nice but since you can't get original systems anymore it has had to be fitted with a more suitable one. Had the most emotional drive back ever driving the Manta 3 hours back I could have cried all the way back. The wheels are mint and have been refurbished but in slightly the wrong shade of white but nevertheless they are still mint. As my first Manta I am chuffed to bits with it and once I get this electrical problem sorted I will be able to enjoy it more :D  and thanks for the comments

that interior is the same as mine but in slightly (meaning alot) better condition. how was the seat on the drive back because my seats the foam was not very good, so my spine was hiting the metal backing and i ended up with a bad back if i drove the car for more than about 1 hour.

Love a white hatch but I am biased!

Well done Jack!

Congratulations Jack.

I'm sure I have a correct size black Manta GTE badge that you can have for free for the back.  PM me your address and I can post or drop off when I'm down your way.

Best interior for a GTE by the way - love Daytona Check!

Thanks Ben really appreciate it and I would love the decal if you have it. I think my GT/E decal is in the wrong place too.

Brilliant Jack. Have you sorted the battery issue yet? Or any closer to its culprit?

On the subject of Recaros, mine hurts my back.... always has done :( even the 1200 mile trip to holland and back left me in pieces!

Jack, does your seat go back far enough? I know us taller lads might struggle abit but my knees touch my steering wheel sometimes!

My seat goes far enough back on the standard runners to be honest. I have always found that a Manta seat is the most comfortable seat ever in my opinion and I have always found them very comfy. What I could do with the seat is bolt it further back and have a better driving position I suppose. I am sorting the battery issue tomorrow because I think it is a combination of the alternator and battery.
