Sorry everyone but I know its not an Opel but I see some other makes up for sale so I thought it would be okay to post. With great regret I am having to sell my Sunbeam as I no longer have any storage space to keep it. I am also not doing anything to my Manta as the Sunbeam is taxed and tested so aim using that instead of doing my Manta, it must be the lazy bit of me coming through whilst getting older lol, Here are the specs of it.

With great regret I am putting my Sunbeam up for sale, It is a 1978 1298cc Sunbeam which has been converted to running a Sierra Cosworth engine with twin 45's,Ford 3.54 Plate style Limited slip Diff Axle,15 inch Revolutions with new tyres, electric fuel pump in boot, fuel regulator under bonnet, Willwood big brake kit with drilled discs,I think its 9 inch rear drums,Coil over suspension on the front,The engine has had extensive work done to it i.e.

2 ltr normallyAspirated Cosworth engine

L1 / Bd3 camshafts

solid lifters

Double valve springs

Inlet ported to 26mm

Exhaust ported to 24mm

Head was pressure tested and faced

Adjustable cam pulleys

Twin 45's on Matched inlet

Forged pistons

Steel Conrods

The Block was acid dipped and chemically cleaned

Engine was bored to 92mm.

The clutch that has been fitted is also a paddle clutch which take a wee while getting used to,The interior is in good nick with 2 Recarro bucket seats with the correct frames fitted, Standard seat belts are still used and its still running on a Ford 4 spd box, The lad that built the car wanted to keep the 4 sod fitted for the sake of the ratios he was looking for. There are a few bits and pieces needing done to the body work but nothing too serious. I also have spares which will go with the car - 1 offside metal wing,1 offside fibre glass wing,2 doors,1 perspsex rear window,1 glass rear window,T i rear spoiler,At the moment I am struggling for space to keep all my projects and that is the only reason for selling.I am wanting £8,000 for it and its a snip at that so I have been told, Cheers for looking, Here also are a couple of pics of it.

If I had the money I would buy this in a heartbeat I can remember back in 1994 a chap where I lived had a black with silver stripe lotus sunbeam with a skip brown engine in it. He offered it to me for £750 quid it needed two front wings. He took me out for a run in it wow that was a very hairy moment boy did that shift. I bet this one goes well it looks like somebody's really put this one together with a whole lotta love. Very nice motor Dave I bet it comes as a wrench to be parting with it.
