I was wondering what you believe to be the best sound proofing is as the V8 is going to be kicking out some noise and wondered what you advise? Rick-Manta Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Don't use any cheap alternatives suggested on many forums I've seen as they will trap moisture in, just like most stock soundproofing, the Mantas in no exception! I've been looking too as I need some to do the Manta with and I also want to do my Chevy as it's really noisy at high speed, so if anyone fancies doing a bulk buy on some dynamat maybe we can sort something? Dynamat is over priced, but keeps Chip Foose happy the best in my opinion is a spray on material branded Lizard Skin spray on urethane deck liner spray on seam sealer as Garymanc says the stick on materials can be a moisture trap. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
