Damaged Road Rally Manta Breaking, Includes Piazza Lsd Axle Etc

Recommended Posts

Some interesting parts on this car that could be of interest to plenty on the forum, I'd think

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=351049442281

... the damage is contained to the wiring and some plastic and rubber items,

all mechanical items will just clean up. I will take offers on the list below, if you want other items just ask,

Shell

Engine and box

Rear lsd axle

Front axle

How much for the rear axle? is it basicly a strait swap on a gte or do you have to modify the car.

Sorry, don't know - not my advert but since I saw it I though worthwhile sharing here.

May be some info about the Piazza axle elsewhere in the forum. Certainly comments about [not] fitting it into Manta diff.

Given the price I saw on the car, it could be worth buying the lot to get the axle and any mounting parts you might need. Though the different wheels might mean that is of less interest.

Hope someone else - or the advertiser if you contact them through fleabay - can provide more details

yep same here. i emailed about the axle and as soon as i replyed (straight away) i got a message from ebay to say the guy was out of his office untill today..... heard nothing. Pretty much said I'd take it but he must have had lots of interest in it!

I see this has been relisted in a rather confusing way. He has put two listings up but it's not that clear to me ( and I might have missed it all ) exactly what you are gonna get. I asked about front and rear lights, got a price then had no further contact after j said I would be more interested in the back lights. Maybe he had decided to sell as a whole BH then but it would have cost nothing to say he was withdrawing it all. I came close to just taking the lights at his price anyway as spares.

Hope it gets sold though, it looks like it could be fixed fairly easily if you understand wiring.
