Anyone got any idea where I can get an exhaust to manifold to downpipe gasket ( the rectangular 6 bolt jobbie ) for a 2.0 gt/e as every motor factors around here either can't get them or send me the wrong ones. I have tried OCP and Andy Clears, no joy. I am getting desperate now as I need to get the car on the road and this is stopping me getting the mot.

Cheers for any help guys

I couldnt find one so bought a sheet of gasket material. Cut approximate size then tapped it on downpipe with hammer which marked the metal surface for cutting.

Julians post ,

I notice that some people are having difficulty in obtaining these gaskets, I just phoned a mate of mine in the West Wales Vauxhall Dealer, and they are available, but ask for it by part number "3456854" price is £ 4.64. not sure if that is inclusive of VAT

Cheers Mick, gasket arrived yesterday, will get it fitted tomorrow regardless of the impending snow, ice etc. Got the car booked in for it's mot Monday, so must be done. Thanks again and will see you at Billing ;)
