Not quite a drop in conversion though as the inlet manifold points the wrong way, you need to make a completly new exhaust manifold to mount the turbo in a different position and various other issues.

Its gonne be a redtop in that case. I think I have found one too!
Also - Mantra seats dont fit stright in looking at it, anyone know the score on that one?

Ive just checked the seats and Im missing the subframes of the recaros which threw me. Hopefully the ones of the cav seats will fit!

Then a couple of years late my wife got given a
1600 two door cav from her grandad. I was green with envy!
If you do want to do an Ascona front conversion ( if you do the car will be worth 4 times as much) I can supply all the parts and info on how to do it.
The car is yours. Do with it what you want. it's rare yes. Convert it and it makes the others even rarer but still not worth as much as an Ascona 2 door
