which indicators do i need to fit the 400 front bumper?

As you say, Ford Capri- fairly plentiful so don't be conned into paying stupid money.

You will have to carefully modify by carefully cutting the surround off that it used to mount onto the Capri bumper.

Right, reason these are pricey is that the two screws on the plastic surroud always break chunks out of it rendering them useless in a capri, so intact ones change hands for lots of money...BUT, you don't need the bit that always breaks, so ring a couple of capri breakers (they advertise on ebay) and ask if they have any with damaged mounts, you'll get them pretty cheap
