Senna

When i was looking the 2.2 was not listed in a lot of motor factors, try looking for a 2.4 gasket same port pattern.

Cheers

Chris

Dealer in Cyprus has no spares on 'old' cars

question for someone on here with greater knowledge -i am told the six cylinder Cam-in-Head engine had the raised intake ports like the 2.2 head, would it be possible to buy a six cylinder gasket and chop off the last two cylinders of it?

Payen(federal Mogul now i think) still did them got 2 last year. I'll try n check this weekend if they are still available at my local motor factor. I have been told that there is a special mastis sealant specially formulated for inlet/exhaust manifolds, might be worth looking into that.

You can buy the metal gasket material in sheet form so you can make one yourself. Just use the old one as a template.

Have a look here:

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item35b8d34ef8

Never tried it myself but got to be worth a go.

I do have a gasket if you need a scan/drawing of it for a template.
