would like to know the width of the front and rear arches of the ascona 400 fiberglass reps before they are fiited, as it will help me with my wheel choice, ie how much wider it will make the car with the arches fitted, many thanks.

Depends on the width of the arches, they aren't all exactly the same. However, if you want we can let you know the wheel sizes and offsets that we use on Ascona 400 replicas?

lol.... my brother posting above (we use the same account) seemingly the 'stating the obvious' comment of the year....
question: what width are ascona 400 arches
answer: depends on the width of the arches

I think he probably meant to say depends who made the arches!
Anyway, I think the widths are broadly similar among the various kits (Martin, Brian, Smith & Deakin). These are the wheel sizes that usually fit nicely: rear 9x15 ET -12 and front 8x15 ET 0.
If you are after Revolutions, get in touch and i'll sort them out for a good price

Reason i ask is so i can use a volvo 740 axle with lsd without having it shortend and keep the 5 stud hubs. So was looking to see how wide overall the manta would be with the kit fitted.
