Wasn't sure what section to post this under. Came across this on the net. Stunning looking car. Anyone know anything about it? It says Opel Manta b?? Prototype maybe? Why did they never produce this, or if they did, I've never seen one before. Stunning car.

That was my thoughts too, but this was from 1972, the GT came out before that didn't it!?

dont know where the pics are from , but this( http://coolspotters....-manta-b-studie )has the same pics and says it was a concept car for the manta B

Yeah it is a stunning car, back then there was alot more influence from the American market on how to make the Opels look.. It reminds me a bit of the Bitter wich also was a Opel Based sportscar (based on the diplomat).
