Hid all the rusty bits behind the Manta too make the Kadett look good (sorry better) :lol:

Love the Manta and colour, good luck with the Kadett. If you get it like Drew's it will be amazing.

Got it from ebay ..Says Opel like a vauxhall....but better. Will be a long winded project on the Kadett as its just rotten. :(

still got a good door gap after all that metal/rust being cut out

Well worked out that its took 6 week to do from drivers side ,inner wing and across to o/s headlight surround ....sh*t got some time to go

To be honest I thought this one had the look of death about it, but you are proving me wrong!!!!! Keep it up, a post and a panel areas are the hardest bit, it gets easier from now!!

Panel cost has not been too bad thankfully ,but cost me an 8x4 sheet of steel up to now and loads of time on fab .Read through your thread on your Kadett and it frightened me .How is it going on or is it on hold

Sitting under a tarp waiting on the Manta.

Yeah the Kadett was sorry for itself, and looking back I could have done a load of bits better with what I've learnt in the last 4 years but that's life. Stopped counting steel after I passed 64sq ft.....

64 sq that is some going ,did you buy panels on top of that? Mine doesnt sound too bad if so .Still getting me down though as seem to have welder permanently in hand and best friends with BOC
