Very Very reluctantly we have for sale my wifes Manta GT/J 1.8S. The car has just been completed after some years of dry storage. As you will have seen from some of my recent post's. The list of repairs is long but mainly- Replaced both rear arches (Lead filled), two new sill's, replacment Door's, two new front wings. Welding in both inner front arches, rear inner arches have minor welding done, one channel section of chassie rail replaced. Replaced all brake lines (copper/nickel), new fuel/ pipe line. Fuel tank was removed and cleaned and painted. New front Brembo standard discs, fully refurbished (BigRed) original delco calipers, new brake pads and shoes. And fresh brake fluids. 3M sound deadening pads placed in various locations during restoration. Replacment shock absorbers (monroe) front. Refurbished Carburetor. Rear window rubber seal was replaced with a original GM seal after repainting. The car has now been fully repainted in Carmine Red. Arches and sills and various under parts have been Waxoiled. Recent Oil and Filter change (Synthetic), car has run on Mobil 1 for most of its time with us, Gear box replaced with Synthetic oil, K&N air filter. Replacement Stainless Steel exhaust fitted. Kenlow electric fan fitted. The car was originally purchased by a local Police man from Ruthin, and then it has been in my Wife's family for 20 very happy years. The car has an unusual factory fitted Black Vinyl roof in excellent condition and factory fitted Sun Roof. We took it recently for an MOT and it passed with no advisories, runs and drives like a dream. Car starts first time and never dropped a drip of oil. The Mileage is 113k, with 12 Months MOT but no Road Tax. The car lives in Sunny North Wales. Any inspection welcome and to a GOOD HOME ONLY! Really sad abount this:( but she needs a good home.
