I am originally from Aberdeen and have been in NZ for 15 years now.
I have a NZ new 2.0L Gsi and an ex UK 1.8s
Still stock piling bits, not sure if I will make one good car or do them both, the silver one needs a lot of work but the body shell is sound (apart from around the sun roof)  but could be worth saving.
Biggest problem out here is getting parts.
cheers
Derek

How nice it is to see mantas in far away shores, i think there use to be an agent for opel cars in oz, nsw,???
so this might be your best chance of getting some old stock spares, good luck

Hi,

As you may know I will be coming over later in the year as per my thread on Opel NZ forum(Steve T 183)
If you want to email a list of parts you need I will see what I have in my stock which is a fair bit(2 *20ft containers worth) and see what space I can create in the containers I am shipping my cars and stuff over in.

regards

Steve
