Jim , thanks for the offer but i was home before i read your reply!
i will be over again in a few months i am sure so would be good to meet a few of the guys over there.
Anyway, back from the trip and a spurt of enthusiasm;-
refitted all the panels to confirm panel fit and do any adjustment before we hit it with paint. Not shown on pics but that included the body kit trims along the cills.

and of course the filler stopper is now on the go to remove all those very tiny imperfections!
oh and i have an exclusive spoiler to replace the original one.

and i finished rebuilding the front suspension (except brake calipers)

to go with a very dusty rear axle i did a while ago

soon be ready for paint.................
i hope!!!!

Well its been a while since my last post. In that time paint preperations have continued but alas no sign of any paint going onto the car as yet. Anyway its too cold at the moment and i always promise the good wife that i will take car of the decorating in the house over the winter months so i can free up garage time for the summer.
Anyway i am getting a bit bored and as i say its too cold to paint so i have picked up another very tiny project so that i can have a bit of fun:-
306 GTI 6 - 168BHP in standard form, just one cage and a set of billies to fit and we can go road rallying ( a couple of weekends work)
