the Borg- warner T5 box is £987.00 ( ouch!!!! ) was curious so had a look on their website. it must be awesome for that amount   :blink:  :thumbup

decided move engine 11'' inches into bulkhead, started chopping but were to stop..floor has alot of rust thats been covered with underseal...

finished chopping-floor and bulk head,engine in position need fabricate new engine mounts now! need smaller alternator..sort pedal box with remote servo?

assuming the engine's way back so the turbos can sit up front, forward of the manifolds?

impressed with the firenza when it turned up at the limes last year :o

yeah still hanging turbos up front aint much room near bulkhead but keep changing stuff as it rolls along.. yeah was some nice rides at the limes..cheers

the impreza base manta would work but may need to add 400 body kit to cover wider wheel base of subaru floorpan.. if you can find damaged subaru and you allready have a manta be cheap conversion to do if doing yourself..took about 400 hours with the firenza.

Gonna be a good one this manta, funny the lengths we to just to check those dam chassis railes..:lol: .. you gonna be using galvanised steel for your new floor ect.

good idea using galv steel for floor but will be using norm steel,let the tin worm do its worst :rolleyes: have orded pair cossi engine mounts be good make start to putting back together again,and go for a blast cant wait!!

did you drive car before the rebuild johno, because moving the engine back is gonna make this car handle well, you gonna use the standard pedalbox but with remote servo.

had manta two years now but only driven back from birmingham..then put in lockup wipped engine and box out..and it rolls on!  like to use standed pedal box but not sure if thats the way to go yet? maybe an ajustable unit?..

well guys went over to see mikey j at boost perfomance this morning about well spec,d low comp 24v engine, handed him fistfull of dollors (boy that made my nees knock) but he said should make a reliable 400 bhp if set up write...:)
