That looks like some serious structural messing about there[:D]. I always find the rot looks really bad untill its chopped out. Its usually not too difficult to piece new steel in. That being said my welding isnt the best in the world and I'd have a go at most things but I bow to your skill/madness here[:D]!

I'd have to agree with your advice to do 1 bit at a time, if nothing else to maintain structural strength, although your method also seems to work[8D].

If what I say can be taken in 2 ways and one of those ways get you angry....I meant it the other way
