  2. Extremely interesting topic! I would definitely love to know more on this - unfortunately I cannot help, as I do not have any information!
  3. Good afternoon to everyone! Some latest developments on my Ascona B C20XE M2.8! After the 16-pin OBD2 plug, I now fitted also o MIL (Malfunction Indication Lamp) from ECU pin 22. As I wrote above, I used a 16-pin plug from Vectra B. I will post some pictures also!
  4. Many thanks mantadoc. I have already some software to read the 16-pin plug (TEXA, autocom, etc.), so I prefer it from the flash codes. I just wanted to confirm that the connections between ECU pins and 16-pin plug are correct. ECU pin 55 to plug pin 7 ECU pin 13 to plug pin 6 Earth to plug pins 4&5 +12V to plug pin 16 With these connections it seems to work properly, I can read both ECU errors and data with two different diagnostic software. However, I have recently seen in the internet that ECU pin 13 should be connected to plug pin 15.
  5. Hi to all, after long! I am coming back to this topic as I have connected finally a 16-pin OBD plug (using a plug from Vectra) to my C20XE M2.8 Ascona B. I made the following connections: ECU pin 55 to plug pin 7 ECU pin 13 to plug pin 6 Earth to plug pins 4&5 +12V to plug pin 16 With these connections it seems to work properly, I can read both ECU errors and data with two different diagnostic software. However, I have recently seen in the internet that ECU pin 13 should be connected to plug pin 15. Has anyone made a similar connection?
  6. Hi guys, I am also wondering about the exact placement of the engelmann mirrors in ascona b? Can you please help? Many thanks in advance!
  7. Hi Anthony, I have some sets of bearing for the differential group (2 same bearings, the ones in the inner side of the half-shafts), therefore if you like just let me know. Regards, Thanasis
  8. Hello after a long time, I am currently into this conversion but I have some troubles with the wiring connections. I have the whole set of distributor-coil-electronic ignition from a Corsa A E12GV, which also has an additional electronic board ("Weber", obviously it is for the carburetor) and another plug with 3-pins that I do not know what it is for (1st picture in the link below). https://www.google.gr/search?q=corsa+a+e12gv&rlz=1C1SAVI_enGR522GR523&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=760&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiz-6KxzPnLAhUCiywKHTMHD-cQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=_ Therefore I do not know exactly what to connect where. Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance.
  9. Very nice project, I think that it is going to be a wonderful manta. May I ask what brake discs you use with the FN3 57/25 calipers (these should be from a Vectra B 5-stud)?
